Rosalie's Bio
Rosalie is a self-starter, and a motivated entrepreneur. She was born and raised in the St. Louis area. The third child of Italian immigrants, Ann and William Fiorino, she shared a love of cooking with her mother and began to cook at the tender age of eight. In 1963 she married her high school sweetheart Bill Harpole. Over the next nine years, they produced three grimy children, one of whom has been coerced into writing this. She and her husband pastored Shepherd's Church in Troy, Missouri for over thirty years.
At 46, she went to college to pursue a life-long dream and became a registered nurse. Out of the fifteen years she has practiced nursing, eleven have been spent at Lincoln County Medical Center. The inspiration to write a cookbook began while supervising the daily meals at the Old Thresher's county fair in a small town called Elsberry, Missouri. One of the many satisfied customers came up to her and asked "Would you consider writing your recipes down?" Just over a year ago, she began to write down her recipes and now she has her first cookbook, "Rosalie Serving Italian."
